Adaptive Path's UX Week 2006

I may not work there day-to-day any longer, but I'm still managing plenty of intellectual collaboration with my friends at Adaptive Path. In fact, they've been kind enough to invite me to speak at the annual User Experience Week in Washington DC, 14-17 August 2006.

The event is really shaping up well, including speakers such as author Steven Johnson, Michael Bierut of Pentagram, and the always-entertaining Jared Spool. And if you sign up by July 1, you can still get $100 off. Hope to see you there.

I wanted to say again how much I've appreciated your teaching. I brought our staff to your user experience seminar at Calvin, and it changed the way we think not only about our website, but all of our programs.

This fall we'll be completely redesigning our website to create a participatory guide to parenting. I'm wondering if you or your friends may have ideas of designers or advisors interested in doing cutting edge work with our non-profit.

Cheers,

Bryan

Jeff:

I met you during your presentation at Web Design World in Boston in December. Interested in getting lunch again? I was the web developer w/ ideas on interactive narrative journalism.

Enjoyed talking w/ you; the ideas I incorporated at that conference helped me get this new gig. '

Thanks .
