Content Migration made easy
I've written a number of times about the black art of Content Management and both the frustrations and opportunities inherent in that undertaking.
Happily, there seems to be a solution to one of the trickier steps in that process: the painstaking migration of content from an older static site into a new managed system. My coworker at Adaptive Path, Chiara Fox, has been through this more times than she cares to remember, and has put together a new report summing up all that experience. "Ten Strategies for Content Migration" is a steal at $20, especially if you're facing the copy-and-paste nightmare of moving to a dynamic site.
