Show and tell
I haven't been traveling much in the last 9 months -- rare for my usually hectic schedule. Instead, I've been working with a small group of insanely talented people on a new web-based product. It has been exciting -- and very different. Long days and nights of design and development, and learning so much about both.
But now we've got something that works and a few people are even using it, so I'm planning some trips to show it off. I'll be at the Adaptive Path User Experience Week in Washington DC 22-25 Aug, then Web Essentials in Sydney, Australia, 29-30 Sept, and also Web Design World in Boston, 21-14 Dec.
Hey, if you're going to any of these events, add a comment...

Looking forward to hearing you at WE05. Good to see a great line up of people speaking in Australia.
Web essentials 05
And looking forward to it
Jeffrey, I almost emailed you to find out if you where taking your bike and was going to do some cycling around Sydney on the weekend after WE05. But I thought better of it:
a) We drive/ride on the other side of the road here, dangerous driving or crossing the street for you, deadly cycling.
b) Do I really need the hassle of packing my bike up, to take to the other side of the country for one ride.
c) Need to find where to ride in Sydney (I am a Perth - West Coast boy)
d) A week without cycling is not going to kill me.
I'm looking forward to Web Essentials 05 as well, should be great. Can't wait to spend some time learning new things and meeting other like minded designers and developers!
Ooh! See you in Sydney.
Are you hanging around before/beyond the conference?
Wow, are these Web Essentials people enthusiastic or what? I'll be there too, and I'm really looking forward to meeting you Jeff - I've been a huge fan of your work since the Wired days :)
I will be in town for the week in DC. I look forward to seeing you then. I am quite interested in hearing about the product development lessons learned.
Very much looking forward to hearing you at WE05 - what a great group of speakers.
I'll be part of the New Zealand contingent heading over to Sydney for Web Essentials. Looking forward to it...
A few of us guys from Campaign Monitor are heading into WE05 - should be a great couple of days.
Yep, I'll be there with Kay and Nick as well, all crossing the country for it. Let's all grab a beer in the bedlam, yeah? :)
I'm sorry, I won't be at the WE05 in Sydney. I would have liked the idea of meeting you there.
Exploring the internet about making clean en neat sites, I saw the name Veen at the site of WE05. And having some Veen-blood in me, I just wondered if we share some common roots? And just a few clicks and photo's further ... yep we do! (If you have no idea and want to know, I'll give a hint.)
Greetings, Erick (not the fish)
Hey Jeff, what's your schedule like for upcoming conferences in your home town, like the Web 2.0 or DUX05? I'm thinking I might lobbycon one or more of those...
And now you even get the pleasure of my company for an entire day at your web essentials pre-con. Yay!
i'll be in DC for just day 2. unfortunately, the company is not covering the cost, so one day was all i could swing on my own.
