Google Maps in Safari

I mistakenly typed maps.google.com into Safari for what must have been the 50th time and, as of tonight, it worked. Looks like Google has been hard at work on supporting all browsers since they launched the app a few weeks ago. Awesome.

I'd guess not "mistakenly for what", but "mistakenly where?".
Think typing into Safari address bar instead of Firefox.

I am also very glad to see it working in Safari, but the printing of maps, especially in "directions" mode, still doesn't work.

Heh. That will teach me to fire off a blog post as I'm walking out the door...

I meant that was perpetually being told to "go see this amazing thing on google maps", but would forget to leave Safari and launch Firefox.

Old habits die hard.

Nice. Looks like it's also working (for the most part) in OmniWeb 5. Horizontal scrolling works as expected but vertical scrolling is inverted.
