Dot Com Redux?
Waiting for my lunch order in a restaurant near South Park. I overhear two people talking in a nearby booth. One guy says:
"The next step is for us to put the infrastructure in place so that we can build out the taxonomy. And can you imagine how cool it will be to have an RSS feed at each node?"
And the funny thing is that I can think of six companies in a two block radius that would, indeed, think that is pretty cool.

Sounds like a Drupal build to me...
Man, that is nothing like any neighborhood I know. We have to create our own conversations here if we want those words used.
I must move or commute to that part of the world.
Sounds like Drupal indeed :)
Mr. Veen misrepresents the neighborhood. South Park is full of crack addicts and meth-addled dwarves. The streets are filthy open sewers where giant rats make homes out of human filth. It's impossible to call the police when your car is broken into (often) because cell reception doesn't work. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!
San Mateo, on the other hand, is VERY pretty. Move there.
The giant rats are all sporting Treos, though.
Mike, I think you're referring to the north side of Brannan St. And you're right, it's pretty nasty over there. The rest of the neighborhood is fantastic, though admittedly no match for San Mateo.
Yeah, this definitely sounds like Drupal-speak. And AFAIK, per-taxonomy feeds are already possible.

Join me for a one-day conference on starting your own company. August 7 in San Francisco.
