A Spring Classic
Today, the wind drove the rain straight up from the bay as I rode across the Golden Gate and I could taste the brine. I pedaled over the slippery grates and cement in my new Adaptive Path cycling uniform as the few brave tourists swaddled in Gortex just shook their heads. And I realized there are no bad days in cycling, only different kinds of suffering.

Jeff,
How can I score an AP Jersey & Shorts??? Love to have a set of those!
True-there really are no bad days on the bike!
Yeah, I second that. Do we have to wait for the jerseys to show up in Velowear?
I meant Velogear. Jebus, that's what I get for getting injured and not being able to ride. The brain, she backs up and misfires.
Nice Jerseys!!
Should cook one up for fiftyfoureleven when the redesign is done, though maybe I should get in shape enough to even *have* a 54-11 on the bike... hehe, yeah right!
Nice jersey. It's always nice reading 'bloggers' that actually cycle. Keep it up!
Very cool design. I'd wear that jersey with pride. You're right, there are no bad days cycling. When I try to explain to my friends why I ride any time, any where, they shake their heads too. I tell them cycling is a form of moving meditation I can't do without. Not that they understand :) But I'm glad there are others who do.
I was thinking of how nice it would be to score an AP jersey while out on my ride today. Five miles later I got passed by a rider wearing a green/black/white AP jersey. I had to catch the rider to ask how he got the jersey. Doh, should have checked the link to realize that there is a team up here in Seattle.
Damn, I still want one.
