I love hearing about Sophia's words! How thrilling! Today when I went to get Stella out of her seat she looked so calmly at me and said, "Mama". Melt. melt. melt.

Kristine--seawing pan?! Could he get any cuter?

Grammy--I know. It sure goes fast, doesn't it? I do need lots of reminders to cherish these moments.

Lisa--she got the shirt as a gift. A little Spinal Tap reference, anyone? <a href="http://www.cafepress.com/buy/t-shirt/-/pv_design_prod/p_1229049.29614411/pNo_29614411/id_8452449/?click=true&CMP=KNC-F-ALL#" rel="nofollow">this one's</a> not the same, but it's the same idea. :)

Where did you get that shirt? I love it. I so need one for Katrina, she is only loud or asleep. My favorite mispronunciation of Emily's was "tragedine" for tangerine.Don't worry, the fun continues for a few years. Even when they can pronounce things right, they use big words out of context and it's still cute and hilarious.

Aja used to call me dam-ma and I said that I would cry when he said it correctly but we were so busy, we didn't even notice when he could Grandma. Ah - so fast the time slips away. Cherish the moment.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the "almost-being-two-thing." It's surreal!

I love "dinnerdime" - so cute! My new favorite is "seawing pan" for ceiling fan. I'll definitely miss that one.

I know! Every day she says something that I know I should write down or blog about because I want to remember it later. I keep thinking she'll always say these things, but I know the correct versions will be sneaking in sooner than I expect!

Language development is so much fun. Your daughter sounds adorable. My daughter also used to say "hold you" and it makes me a little sad that she says it the right way now.
