Kid crack

Singing and dancing ensues in our house daily when Elmo takes the screen. I don’t know what it is with that fuzzy little guy, but Sophia can NOT sit still when she hears him sing. Every day I laugh my head off when she starts dancing, so today I decided to capture it forever on film. (You know, to blackmail her later.) Had I actually been ready with the camera when he started up the first time, you would have seen Sophia’s true singing/headbanging/dancing/thrusting action. This video was taken after I rewound the opening to Elmo’s world, so it’s the watered-down second time around version. Not as bouncy, but still cute.

Note Chris lurking in the background. He was smart to hide, as Sophia will stop (insert hilarious and embarrassing activity here) as soon as she notices us and becomes aware of herself. His lurking was to ensure we captured the moment before she realized we were actually there and secretly mocking. OK, maybe I’m not mocking so much as I’m secretly nodding my head with the realization that yes, this is definitely my daughter. She is one of us. Mama is proud.

Check her out!

I know, it is so fun to watch kids get excited about music!

About uploading videos in WP, you just have to go to the “Users” tab in your editor and unclick the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” box. It is not unique to this theme, it is just a Word Press thing, I think. Good luck!

and she’s singing too..really does fit right in your family..how couldn’t she

HAHAHA!! Cute!!!

Go ‘head Sophia!
