Kisses

Kissing under the freaky Fair lights Yesterday I asked Sophia for a kiss. She sweetly leaned over and planted one on me. Totally surprised I asked, “Can I have another one, sweetie?” Out came the big wet tongue this time, ready for a sloppier version.

I didn’t even know she knew what kissing meant. I mean, I kiss her all the time. But when did she put two and two together and match the word with the action? One day my daughter is watching on the sidelines and the next she is an active participant in the love-fest. It’s about time, too, because this family is all about the kissy-face lovin’.

Hmm…wonder what else she knows that I’ve never bothered to ask her?
