Leaving on a Jet Plane
We took Sophia on her first airplane ride on Friday. We’re off to the beautiful island of Kauai for a much needed family vacation! Sophia fared well on the trip over. I was a little worried, as it’s a five-hour flight. But the flight attendant totally hooked us up and offered the man who was supposed to sit next to us a new seat up front. It was kind of a no-brainer — the window seat of the very last row of the plane next to a squirmy baby or an aisle in bulkhead. Yep, he was out of there faster than you can say, “Sorry, sir. I think there’s a Cheerio stuck to your cheek.” So the lanky Fraziers got to spread out all of our long limbs in an extra seat! Check here for more photos of the trip.
I’ll write more when I get a chance, and when my sunburn fades a little and makes doing everything a little easier. We went to this awesome beach yesterday and Sophia took a perfect nap in my arms after a good hard swim. I say perfect because I can’t think of anything better than cuddling your sleeping baby in the cool breeze beside the ocean. Perfection! I’ll take a little sunburn any day for that.

I totally agree! Having your baby nap in your arms is the best! Have an awesome vacation!
