Girl’s Life

The morning is generally a busy time for me. I like to sleep as long as possible, which includes hitting the snooze button a couple times. With showering, dressing, changing baby and getting her fed, this doesn’t give me as much time as I would like to actually just be with and enjoy my girl in the morning.

So Chris began bringing her over to hang out and watch me get ready in the bathroom in the morning. This lasted all of five minutes until Sophia started crawling and scurrying about, which is really hard to control with a hair dryer in one hand and a round brush in the other. So I devised a plan to keep her confined while allowing her to play with her toys and talk to mommy nearby, all the while providing us the opportunity to hang out for a couple extra minutes each morning before I rush off to work.
