Shooting the Kids
I must apologize for the lack of posting this month. Things are a little crazy around here. Sometimes crazy is good. Sometimes it’s stressful. I think the crazy going on with us right now is a little bit of both.
I’ve been focusing a lot of my online writing time to our new blog, Shooting the Kids, a mix of our two biggest passions — digital photography and, of course, babies (ours, specifically). I must say, I’m quite a fan of the clever title my talented husband came up with. So darn clever, that man. And cute. But as usual, I digress.
Anyway, Shooting the Kids, along with several other digital photography blogs in the new network (DP Blogs), has been up and running for a few months, and we’re having a blast. It’s been challenging for me to keep up with both blogs, but I’m always up for a good challenge. I’m a working mom, remember? Also, you don’t have to have kids to read and enjoy Shooting the Kids; there are helpful hints for everyone. And we’re by no means pros when it comes to photography. We’re basically learning as we write and research. We’re just letting everyone in on the tips and tricks we use on subjects like lighting, Photoshop, color printers for digital prints and getting squirmy kids to look great in photos.
I’d love if you stop by, bookmark, or even subscribe to our feed. It might even warrant a big ol’ wet open-mouthed baby kiss from Sophia the next time she sees you.

Clever, sure. But cute?
I’ll never forget my 6 inch long drooly nose kiss.
