On the move

Photo a Day - Day 16, Diapers Look out world! Sophia is on the move. Last night marked her first successful attempt at crawling. CRAWLING! I can’t believe we’re there already.

It’s not like she’s actively crawling or anything, but yesterday when I propped her up on her hands and knees and put her inchworm just out of reach, she definitely tried to get there. That counts for something, right? And when she realized rolling onto her back wouldn’t work — mostly because I would just prop her back right-side-up — she bent her little knees up under her and did a little scoot-scoot towards me and the impending prize. It was really cute! Man, that kid is smart.

She’s growing up so fast. Well, I guess not that fast. Just this morning, she burst into tears when I sneezed too loudly. I guess I still have a little bit of baby time left. Whew!

hi guys! your baby girl is such a dolly… and crawling! i swear if she starts walking tomorrow we will no longer be friends… since my 16… yes i said SIXTEEN month old still hasn’t figured it out. ummmm, i’ve been trying to get in touch with you two. i’m in town for a few weeks and want to see the baby. oh and amy. oh and YOU chris too :)

haha how cute my cousin is the same way if you turn off the lights!!! she thinks its nap time haha.
