Pumpkins!

Sleepy Bee

This weekend we did what all new parents do. We dressed up our poor one-month-old daughter in a ridiculous (and cute!) costume and showed her off. We actually went to an amazing Pumpkin Patch in Orange County with some friends and their kids (also dressed up, of course).

Sophie tried out her Halloween costume for a few shots. But nothing would get her to open her eyes - not even the acres and acres of pumpkins surrounding us!

It was definitely one of those events that you realize is much more for the parents’ enjoyment. I’m sure there will be plenty of times in the future when I’ll be doing things purely for my daughter’s delight, so I figured she could humor me just this once!

I’m officailly obsessed with sophie. Is is bad that I’ve never even met her, she’s not my baby and I love her? she’s so cute. and little. and seriously a beautiful demonstration of God’s wonderful gift of life. if you guys wanna make some money you should rent her out to her adoring fans. Like 20$ for an hour of loaf time. I really think you should consider it. now on to the cold hard true: WHEN ARE WE GOING TO HANG OUT?

aww thats so cute you guys! :) i miss you all and congrats on sophie, so cute. i hope to see you guys sometime real soon or in the future. my email is there so feel free to email me anytime and i’ll respond. keep in touch, i’ll keep this blog site to my favorites and check it. much love to you both! miss you!

Sweet Great Pumpkin and his Patch.
Our boys just finished terrorizing the pumpkin patch and slide.

We actually have video of Silas meticulously arranging the small pumpkins in a line around the haystacks. OCD to the max.

Silas was a Bumble Bee for our first Halloween…uh..I mean, HARVEST Festival. :)
