Living in a Bubble
I work at an art school. The campus is used often as a blank canvas for students to express their voices. Most of the time it’s not political. But this election seems to have sparked an interest in young voters. Right on!
One of the cool projects around school this week was a huge expanse of bubble wrap. Serisouly, bubble wrap in the parking lot. Bubble wrap on the walkway. Bubble wrap on the bridge. There was no way not to step on it at some point during the day. The point of the project was that we don’t live in a bubble. (I know that because it said it everywhere.) We should exercise our right to vote - to make a difference in our country. And of course, this project was made complete by the voter registration packets hung around campus in stylish bubble wrap pouches.
You have one more day to go and get yourself registered. Do it now.
